Thirty Days of the Mirror : Alien
June 7, 2013
Alien

not truly there

not truly here

closed off

protected

bound within the confines of spirit

locked in the shackles of dogma

Alien

yearning to be part

seeking to be removed

enclosed in the embrace

retreating from the grasp

Alien

awake in the night

cloaked in sleep in the morning

afraid to be whole

brave enough to scatter

Alien

Wishing for  the fire

drowning in  sheets of ice

a part of the universe

separate from self

Alien
